These Terms govern your use of Yutora (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. This is an English translation provided for convenience. If there is any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails (Japanese version).

1. About the App

The App helps you see how much time you spend on social media, shape that use within a social media budget you set yourself, and look back on the time and photos you keep. It does not forbid social media entirely; it may block the social apps you select while you are recording your own time or once you have gone past your budget for the day. Your data is stored on your device as a rule, and your daily records are not sent to any server operated by the developer. If you use the backup feature, it uses your own iCloud (Apple’s CloudKit), and Apple’s terms and specifications apply.

2. Subscription

All features of the App are available during an active subscription or a trial period. The plans are as follows.

Annual plan — with a 14-day free trial
Monthly plan — no free trial

There is no difference in features between the annual and monthly plans. They differ only in billing period, discount, and the fact that the free trial is offered on the annual plan alone. Prices may change without notice; the price shown on the purchase screen in the App Store at the time of purchase applies. The currency shown follows the region of your App Store account.

3. Free trial and automatic renewal

The free trial is offered on the annual plan only and lasts 14 days.
Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically to the annual plan and you will be charged.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and free trials are all managed from your App Store account settings.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. After cancelling, you keep full access until the end of the current billing period. After that the App moves to viewing mode, where you can still read and export the records and photos you have already kept.

5. Payment and refunds

All payments are processed through the App Store (Apple). Whether a refund is granted, and the process for requesting one, are governed by Apple’s policies; the developer of the App is not in a position to process refunds. Please contact Apple directly for refund requests.

6. Prohibited conduct

When using the App, the following are prohibited.

Copying, modifying, or reverse-engineering the App
Using the App for any purpose that violates the law or public order and morals
Interfering with the operation of the App

7. Disclaimer

The App is provided to support how you spend your time. It is not intended for medical purposes, health care, or the treatment of addiction. The App is provided as is and does not guarantee any particular outcome, such as a change in behaviour. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Intellectual property

Intellectual property rights in the App and its design, text, logo, and related materials belong to the developer or the rightful owner. The records and photos you create and keep within the App belong to you.

9. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be revised as needed. If there is a significant change, the date on this page will be updated and, where appropriate, notice will be given in the App. If you continue to use the App after a revision, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
